Microsoft promises enhances to stability, security, and performance
Each April and October, Microsoft releases upgrades to Business Central intended to boost functionality and user experience. The first major update, released April 5th, is available for both on-premise and cloud deployments and aims to further enhance stability, security, and performance. Built on the functionality and stability of Dynamics NAV, a solution trusted by 2.7 million global users, Dynamics 365 Business Central is bringing a cloud-based revolution to businesses around the world.
Stability – Microsoft has added telemetry to Business Central to detect user errors and enable automated, proactive logging of errors.
Security – In addition to the continuous improvement of security infrastructure and processes, Business central continues to meet the following security and privacy compliance standards:
- ISO27001
- ISO27017
- ISO27018
- SOC 1 and 2 Type 2
- HIPPA BAA
- FERPA
Performance – Using telemetry Microsoft continuously tunes performance and detects performance issues. It also has long-term, strategic investments in performance features.
