We are delighted to present Annette Hammerich, a seasoned expert and a vital part of Pipol. Annette has been with the company since 2009, and brings unparalleled expertise in ERP solutions to our international operations.
In 2009, Annette was approached by Pipol, then known as Partnerpower. Initially hesitant, she was drawn to Pipol's innovative vision and collaborative model. Her previous experience with larger international businesses had highlighted the challenges of cross-cultural projects, intercompany coordination, and offshore development. Pipol's structured financial model for projects and partnerships helped address many of these challenges, laying the groundwork for an effective and successful Global Partner Network.
Annette heads Pipol’s back-office team, ensuring seamless operations for global projects. From setting up processes that support a smooth purchase-to-payment flow to managing critical revenue and margin-sharing mechanisms, she ensures every detail aligns with Pipol’s financial model. “I enjoy working with my international colleagues, and our customers, and partners as it brings endless opportunities for optimization and growth. In a resource-scarce environment, adaptability is key. We continually optimize and refine our processes to stay ahead,” she explains.
Beyond her professional role, Annette finds solace and inspiration in nature and the great outdoors. “Spending time in nature helps me clear my mind and has often led to creative business solutions,” she smiles. Annette lives in a historic farmhouse from the 1800s, so she never has a dull moment, as the house requires frequent repair. The farm boasts quite a collection of animals, her favorites being the dogs and horses.
Looking to the future, Annette is excited about the evolving landscape of international collaboration. “I thrive on change and challenge, and I’m eager to continue helping Pipol innovate and succeed globally,” she shares.
Fun fact:
Annette is deeply passionate about trotting horse racing, a sport she has been involved with since she was fifteen. She started by taking care of the horses at the trotting track barnyard, then started training trotting horses. Later, she acquired a trotting horse and travelled all over Scandinavia to attend different trotting horse races.
